The Instant Pot has Become my Best Friend

Image
"Hail the Instant Pot" Are you tired after a long hard day at work and dread the thought of coming home to cook dinner? Dread no more, I have the answer! Buy an Instant Pot. You may ask, "What exactly is an Instant Pot, and what is all this craze about?"  It's pretty simple:  One pot, one meal, one mess.  This handy contraption provides a "one size cooks all" in a limited amount of time, and all the cooking is done directly in the pot. Reflect back on a day you were running late for work, and you still ...

How can one even fathom throwing something additional into the mix? School?!?! Are you crazy? Perhaps not. It's All About Balance . I am living proof that adding on additional responsibilities, such as the pursuit of a Master's degree can be done.  Most of my education has been completed as a non-traditional student. I set out on this educational journey immediately following high school but didn't finish until years later when I  had a husband, house, and two kids. As if that was not challenging enough, here I am at it again, but this time with an additional two children, bringing the grand total to four. Not only am I working full time, raising a household, and going to school, I am able to exercise as well because I balance my time effectively. We all need an...
